Well... I am going back into acting.. Negotiations are in process..

I thought Id retire, after coming over here to the USA in 2002 and noticing that there were limited roles for older women and no roles for women over 45 unknown to the USA casting folk, I thought Id call it a day and be delighted that I exited with the beautiful Zhaan as my last...

I did not search for an agent or knock on doors, I just retired... In the back of my mind I always thought that I would come out of retirement if I was offered a role that would do justice to Zhaan and be an honorable character that made me proud to step back into the craft with.. I have been offered many Vampire films where the role required all sorts of nakedness and multiple acts of titillation.. LOL.. I felt that these roles would not do justice to the memory of Zhaan... needless to say I did not entertain the notion of jumping into those roles..

I placed my acting craft into the hands of "upstairs" and thought that if its meant to be.. it will be, but I had no intention of joining the stream of endless auditions and potential heartbreak.. I thought to myself that one day a clever producer will realize that Zhaan was very popular and that it might be a grand idea to pop me into a Science fiction role... and that day is here! yay!!!! Tracey A.Kimball and Timothy L.Raynor offered me a role in the TV film they have written and are producing, that is designed to roll into a series.. I am in Heaven!

The art called me.. and I answered it... (and Tracy called Jean Orrico, my manager, and she answered! hee hee..)

The film is called "Starfighters The Praetorian Issue". It is starring the incredible Laurence Fishburne!

My character in negotiation is Ambassador S'Tarleya! Regal, strong and just PERFECT for me!

Gigi is in the film too! YYYYYAAAAYYYYYY.. She is playing Omega 1 Agent Blackwell, a very wirey athletic role that includes martaial arts .. We both have support roles, go have a peek at the cast so far, Starfighters:The Praetorian Issue website. We start filming in July and the film will be shown on the Sci-Fi Channel, if you love it, it will then become a TV series, we hope! Good news eh?

Hundreds of thousands of you have come to conventions all over the world to honour Zhaan and meet me, so I thought youd like to know, youve all been so loving to me and to the memory of our beloved Zhaan!
